The earth’s polar regions are rapidly warming and changing, threatening global sea level rise and coastal ecosystem survival. The Environmental Fluid Dynamics Laboratory (EFDL LLC) is a collaboratory in which scientists, engineers, applied mathematicians, and artists collaborate to communicate and deliver solutions to pressing climate-related problems at the north and south reaches of the planet. EFDL LLC’s services range from deploying observational instrumentation in polar oceans and on glaciers to integrating observational data into state-of-the-art forecast models to training the next generation.
